We are so thrilled to have John Dady kick off our First Friday Acoustic Music in 2023!

John Dady has been singing his way into the hearts of his audiences since the 1970’s when he and his brother Joe produced their first album as “The Dady Brothers”. Many more albums followed, along with thousands of live performances. They’ve shared their delightful music
throughout the eastern United States and across Ireland. John and Joe’s brotherly harmonies and adept command of a variety of instruments captivated audiences both young and old. In 2020, The Dady Brothers were chosen to be inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame.

Since Joe’s untimely death in 2019, John has continued the tradition performing solo or with an array of accomplished musician friends. Accompanying himself on upside-down, left-handed guitar and ukulele, John’s vast repertoire
of songs includes original compositions, Irish and American Folk songs, popular tunes from the Big Band Era to the Beatles and the Band, and the list goes on. He tailors each performance to foster a personal connection with his audience, a hallmark of every show.
